Does anyone know the exact date of the release of Wii Fit?

It is said to be released around April, but it is not confirmed yet.

The Wii Fit bundle includes a wireless balance board and over 40 exercise routines. The board can support a person weighing up to 660 pounds, and it uses a person's weight and balance to compute body mass index (BMI) - which determines if a person is within weight range, underweight or overweight. The software also tracks a user's progress over time, so they can see improvements to BMI. Users are encouraged to measure their BMI daily, and the creators of the Fit bundle claim the balance board is one of the most accurate scales you can buy. The Wii Fit also can tell if a person's weight distribution is uneven and provide tips on improving balance.

The Japanese people were the first ones introduced to the WII Fit idea and final product. The game was firstly launched in Japan and the reactions of the people were of the most diverse. However, most of these reactions relate to the astonishment and to the please of the persons due to the special structure and features of the WII Fit. The game is indeed admitted to be a real attraction and aiding tool for anyone who wants to achieve the goal of fighting extra pounds. The genial idea of creating such a game brought the Japanese company an unexpected result in sales, as the product has been sold in over 1,800 copies from the very first month of its apparition.

As of the beginning of May 2008, Wii Fit is the only game available for the Wii Balance Board but that will definitely change in the coming months. Namco Bandai has already confirmed the release of We Ski in the US on 13th May and 2k Sports have Don King's Prizefighter scheduled for June and the list will grow. In fact, Nintendo US COO, Reggie Fils-Aime, confirmed that over 10 games were already in development. No other games have been confirmed but there are already rumours spreading of Nintendo snowboarding, EA Skate, Rayman Raving Rabbids and even future Mario titles. In view of this, Wii Balance Board games are definitely going to be a big hit in 2008.
