Wii Fit is set to be a hot seller wherever it is released and could have women reaching for their purse strings. Wii Fit is a full on exercise game set to give you more of a workout than Wii Sports. The game features over 40 different activities and is designed to keep you physically fit via a dedicated peripheral, the wireless Wii Balance board which comes with the game. Training falls into 4 different categories: aerobics, yoga, muscle conditioning and balance games. The calorie busting fun of Wii Fit could be used as a slimming tool which would be a move into the lifestyle category, so men, women, children and grandparents alike could all benefit while still retaining all the fun of video gaming.

The Wii Fit's $89.99 price tag is justified by the wide range of exercises it includes. The exercises are grouped under four different training modes: strength training, yoga, aerobics and balance games. The strength training category offers a series of extensions, lifts (arm and leg), squats, twists, lunges, planks and more. Meanwhile, the yoga category coaches users through a variety of different positions and breathing exercises, and aerobics allows players to do stepping, rhythm boxing and even hula-hoop challenges. Wii Fit's balance games include heading a soccer ball, walking a tight rope, doing ski jumps and more. When a person starts an exercise, a trainer (designed by the user) appears on screen. Throughout each exercise, the trainer provides the user with personalized feedback. All of the games and exercises utilize the balance board in some way, so the system (and your trainer) can tell exactly what you are doing and how you are doing it.

Nintendo Wii games are different from other computer games. Instead of just moving the fingers it encourages children to physically play action games. There are inbuilt motion sensors, which allow the player to control the characters and actions on the screen. Also, Wii remote is wand shaped which all children like. This unique concept is closely watched by other manufacturers which would lead to a healthy competition in computer games. In near future, market will be flooded with computer games that would claim to reduce certain calories if that game is played for a certain time period.
