The Wii Fit bundle includes a wireless balance board and over 40 exercise routines. The board can support a person weighing up to 660 pounds, and it uses a person's weight and balance to compute body mass index (BMI) - which determines if a person is within weight range, underweight or overweight. Users are encouraged to measure their BMI daily, and the creators of the Fit bundle claim the balance board is one of the most accurate scales you can buy. The Japanese people were the first ones introduced to the WII Fit idea and final product. The game was firstly launched in Japan and the reactions of the people were of the most diverse. However, most of these reactions relate to the astonishment and to the please of the persons due to the special structure and features of the WII Fit. The game is indeed admitted to be a real attraction and aiding tool for anyone who wants to achieve the goal of fighting extra pounds. The genial idea of creating such a game brought the Japanese company an unexpected result in sales, as the product has been sold in over 1,800 copies from the very first month of its apparition.
Wii Fit uses a special platform called the Wii Balance Board that can measure a user's weight and their centre of gravity, and calculate their body mass index when told the user's height. The game has about 40 different activities, including yoga poses, push ups, and other exercises. Moreover, Wii Fit allows its players to compare their fitness by using Wii Fit's own channel.
