Wii was originally released in 2006 and by Christmas 2007 had people scattering, scrounging and waiting outside various stores at 5 am in ice storms for one of the precious long awaited shipment! By capitalizing on that crossover appeal with the Fit bundle, sales of the Wii system could be propelled even further out of the stratosphere.
The Wii Fit Balance Board is a clever device that is pressure sensitive and detects shifts in balance in any direction. You put it in front of your TV, step on and use it to interact with the varied activities. The great thing about it that it's wireless, so there's no chance of you tripping over a cable and picking up an injury. Having said that, you should make sure you leave some space around it as, until you get the hang of it, the odd overbalancing can take place and you don't want to fall head first into the glass coffee table!
